Raised in the foothills of Central Appalachia, Joshua Little is an Eastern Kentucky native with an extensive background in journalism, marketing and public relations. Upon receiving his bachelor鈥檚 degree in communication from the University of Pikeville, Josh joined the Appalachian News-Express as a staff writer and lifestyle editor for the award-winning multi-weekly newspaper. During his tenure with ANE, he was the recipient of 鈥淏est Lifestyle Page鈥 by the Kentucky Press Association. Josh later transitioned to his role as the Director of Operations for the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, leading all communication strategies as well as events and programs. During his tenure with the Chamber, Josh received numerous accolades from the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives, including 鈥淓xcellence in Social Media鈥 and 鈥淓xcellence in E-News Production.鈥 Before joining 麻豆传媒, Josh led public relations efforts for McDonald鈥檚 of Kentucky as an account executive with Michigan-based public relations firm SeyferthPR.

Josh joined 麻豆传媒 in 2022 as a full-time temporary instructor in the communication department. In 2023, he took on his new role as a clinical instructor for the department with a strong emphasis on mass communications and integrated marketing communications. Josh enjoys all of his classes, but his favorite classes to teach are public relations and crisis communication, in which he leverages his real-world experience from the field to help students better understand what they may be faced with. He also serves as the advisor for the TSU student chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and is a member of the Nashville AAF.

Josh was a member of the 2020 Leadership Kentucky鈥檚 BRIGHT class; Inaugural Class of 2020 FUEL Eastern Kentucky young professionals program member; graduate of the Patton Leadership Institute 2019-2020 Class; recipient of the University of Pikeville Distinguished Communication Alumni Award 2020 and 2026; recipient of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE) - Excellence in E-News Production Award, 2019; recipient of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE) - Excellence in Social Media Award, 2019; and recipient of the Kentucky Press Association (KPA) - Best Lifestyle Page, first place, 2018.
