BFA in Technical Theater at the in with an emphasis in Lighting and Sound.
Mr. CollinoÌýhasÌýbeenÌýthe Technical Theater Manager or "TD" at TSU forÌý7 years. He designs and buildsÌýall ofÌýthe sets and lighting for the Department of Communications productions and the Music Departments Opera.
He has been doing professional theater across the country with some of the countries best know regional theaters since 1984; such as the , , , and the to name a few.
Mr. Collino then took a break for a few years and taught technical theater at .
Desiring a return to the professional world he became the Lighting Designer for Opryland Productions at where he designed lights for many of Country Music's biggest stars, Johnny Cash, Trisha Yearwood, Lorrie Morgan, Faith Hill, Tanya Tucker andÌýGarth BrooksÌýare some of the over 60 stars he designed lights for.
While withÌýGaylord Mr. Collino had the extreme pleasure to design lighting for several cruise ships in the lines fleets. His greatest joy was working with Dick Clark Productions on a production of American Bandstand Classics at the Roy Acuff Theater and especially on an event at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville with many of the artists with the world famous company.
He also had the opportunity to be the Lighting Designer for theÌýnational tour of "Always Patsy Cline" with the Company.
Before joining the Department as an adjunct faculty memberÌýMr. CollinoÌýwas a Project Manager with ,Ìýworking on such projects as the , in Hattiesburg Mississippi, , and Joel Osteens in Houston Texas.
He is an active member of the and Ìý He also recieved a Certificate of Merit from Governor Sundquist for his design and participation in the State of Tennessee's Bicentennial Celebration in 1996.
