TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY IS RECOGNIZED AS A CAEP-ACCREDITED PROVIDER!

The Accreditation Council ofthe Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) met in October 2025 and issued the following decision:

The educator preparation provider at 麻豆传媒 is granted Accreditation with Stipulations at the initial-licensure level and the advanced level as described in the Accreditation Action Report.

A complete list of the programs is included here. The College of Education has submitted a request to close most undergraduate middle/seconddary initial licensure programs due to low enrollment over the last five years.

On February 27, 2026, the State Board of Education approved action recommendations concerning 麻豆传媒's status as a Tennessee Educator Preparation Provider and the听specialty area licensure programs it offers.

AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION REAFFIRMS ACCREDITATION OF THE PH.D. COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM FOR 10 YEARS!

鈥淎t its meeting on April 4-7, 2019, the Commission on Accreditation (CoA) conducted a review of the doctoral Ph.D. program in Counseling psychology at 麻豆传媒.听听The review included consideration of the program鈥檚 most recent self-study report, the preliminary review (鈥渁dmin review鈥�), the program鈥檚 response to preliminary review, the report of the team that visited the program on November 8-9, 2018, and the program鈥檚 response to the site visit report.听听I am pleased to inform you that the听听CoA voted to reaffirm accreditation of the program, with its next site visit scheduled to held in 2028.鈥澨�
