  • Organic Vegetable Gardening:听 Provide professional, efficient and objective organic vegetable gardening techniques as per the USDA National Organic Standards (NOP) to farmers, extension agents and hobbyists
  • Organic Certification for Crop Producers:听 Agents will learn professional, efficient and objectives of organic certification and process to assist farmers, ranchers, handlers and other vendors

  • The small-farm expo is an annual event sponsored by the Cooperative Extension here at 麻豆传媒.听 Each year the top 4 small farmers in the state are selected for awards and one farmer is awarded 鈥楽mall farmer of the Year鈥�.听 The expo is designed to support small farmers in how to utilize limited resources and maximize farm income.

  • The TN are a community outreach program designed to promote local food sourcing. Middle Tennessee farmland once fed Nashville and it will again.听

  • The summit was sponsored by and听TSU, and featured some of听 Nashville鈥檚 best chefs offering delicious, locally grown organic meals during a full day of educational workshops, networking, and the celebration of another great growing season.

  • The summit is scheduled for December 2-4, 2016 at the TSU Avon Williams Off-Campus Instructional Site in downtown Nashville.听 Please make your plans to attend, support, and learn about local food.
